High Resolution Files

Resolution is also known as dpi (dots per inch) or ppi (pixels per inch). It indicates the number of colored dots or pixels that make up one image. The higher the dots per inch/pixels per inch, the greater the resolution and the clearer the resulting final print will be. Resolution is critical when it comes to printing. Trying to utilize images from the internet and other not for print sources often leads to fuzzy or poor quality since internet images are optimized specifically for reproduction on monitors. Ideal resolution for printing is a minimum of 300 dots per inch which can be found by utilizing programs such as Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop or Corel Draw.
